  Panther Pride Football is a program that is committed to our school’s goals for our student-athletes. We are in the pursuit of building our faith life, being open to growth, accepting the challenge of our academic roles, seeking love as the ultimate goal, and being committed to justice. We as a football staff are honored to be in the position of using the arena of football as a platform for the pursuit of these goals. The overriding philosophy of “More Than Winning” is the banner we proudly wave.

The subsequent team goal of a “Total Release Performance” focuses on the 4 C’s: Commitment, Cooperation, Conduct, and Competing. Simply put, we challenge our program members to consider how Jesus would put into practice His opportunity to participate in football. The PRIDE of our team avails us the lifelong challenge of Pursuing the Right Ingredients Develops Excellence, and the Jesuit Catholic model of “AMDG” narrows our focus to do all things for the Greater Glory of God. Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam.

This year our seniors have chosen the motto of M.A.G.I.S.; Men Accepting God Inspiring Sacrifice. Magis (pronounced "màh-gis") is a Latin word that means "more" or "greater". It is related to ad majorem Dei gloriam, a Latin phrase meaning "for the greater glory of God", the motto of the Society of Jesus. Magis refers to the philosophy of doing more for Christ, and therefore doing more for others. 

As a coaching staff, our hope is that you will be able to see beyond the game and be personally touched by our “More Than Winning” work on and off the field.
